¹⁵These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only nine o’clock in the morning.^[a] ¹⁶Rather, this is what was revealed through the prophet Joel:

¹⁷‘It will come to pass in the last days, God declares,
    that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy;
    your young men shall see visions,
    and your old men shall dream dreams.
